Tamiya 74060 Micro Hammer is a 180 mm precision hammer supplied with four interchangeable heads: nylon for soft, non-marring taps; brass for medium-weight strikes; and two iron heads, one flat and one round, for heavier contact. The blue aluminium-look body has a rubber grip for secure handling, and a clear storage case holds whichever heads are not in use. Designed for controlled tapping on model parts, pin insertion and Mini 4WD assembly tasks.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?
Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.
What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?
Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.
How do I keep tools in good condition?
Cut plastic only (never metal sprues or wire) with precision cutters, replace knife blades often, and keep files clear with a brass brush.
