How to care for your brush
Because this set mixes natural and synthetic fibres, it benefits from mixed care habits. The squirrel tinter, Kolinsky, and sable brushes should be rinsed in cool water, cleaned gently with brush soap, and reshaped carefully after use. Avoid soaking them or letting paint dry in the ferrule. The synthetic round is more forgiving and can tolerate slightly warmer water, but it still needs prompt rinsing and reshaping. The stubby flat should be cleaned thoroughly so dried pigment does not stiffen the edge. Store the set dry in a protective case or roll, with the short handles and fine tips kept separated from heavier brushes and tools.
