Rosemary & Co Series 33 is a pure Kolinsky sable pointed round brush, handmade in Yorkshire, England. It's widely considered the best value premium Kolinsky brush on the market — significantly cheaper than Raphael 8404 or W&N Series 7 while delivering comparable performance.
Series 33 has a softer feel than both 8404 and Series 7, with a generous belly that holds plenty of paint. The point retention is excellent though slightly less crisp than Series 7. For miniature painters, it's an exceptional all-rounder, particularly for glazing, blending, and general work where the soft flow character shines. Many painters buy Series 33 in multiples — one for detail, one for basecoating, one for washes — because the price allows it.

How to care for your brush
Clean with lukewarm water after each session. Use brush soap periodically. Reshape the point gently after washing. Store horizontally or tip-down in a brush case. Avoid metallic paints and harsh solvents. Rosemary & Co brushes respond well to regular conditioning with brush soap, which helps maintain the soft flow character. Expect 2-4 years with regular use and proper care.
