This paint is acrylic and formulated for maximum performance both with brush and airbrush. Water soluble, odorless, and non-toxic. Shake well before each use. Each jar includes a stainless-steel agitator to facilitate mixture. We recommend A.MIG-2000 Acrylic Thinnerfor correct thinning. Dries completely in 24 hours.
You can also use it in combination with the AMMOF500 "RETARDER" to blend the colours together more easily and without applying pressure. This also helps with feathering the colours, avoiding tide marks with acrylic washes, and achieving softer colour and tonal gradations.
What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
