Product overview

KRMA024 is the finest grade in this group, using natural grains nominally sized from 0.1 to 0.5 mm. On a miniature base it produces a close, low-profile ground texture rather than distinct stones, so it suits general earth or sand surfaces and can also extend across terrain pieces. Its natural colour can be retained for desert groundwork or overpainted to match the surrounding scheme.

  • Each pot contains a minimum of 150 g.
  • Some particles may be slightly larger than the stated range.
  • The material can be fixed with PVA or Kromlech Super Glues.
  • Supplied in a plastic container with a twist-off lid.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
