The Hobby Heaven Dry Brush range is our own-brand collection of natural goat-hair brushes, made for the drybrushing technique that miniature painters use constantly. We developed them because we watched customers wear out expensive painting brushes on drybrushing โ a job that wants a purpose-built tool, not a repurposed round. Goat hair is soft and holds its shape well, so it picks up pigment and releases it evenly across raised detail for smooth, controlled highlights rather than a harsh, scratchy stroke. The domed heads suit the everyday drybrushing tasks: catching highlights on raised edges, building texture on bases, and laying in weathering and pigment effects. Affordable enough to replace when they wear โ because every drybrush eventually does.

How to care for your brush
