How to use them
Carefully separate the pieces from the frame. For Uncoloured sheets, paint before assembly — an airbrush gives the most even finish, but a brush works if you keep the paint thin so it doesn't warp the paper. Let everything dry fully, then assemble with cyanoacrylate (superglue) for the strongest bond; PVA also works. Gently curl and bend the leaves for a natural look, and seal with a coat of varnish to protect them on the gaming table. Coloured sheets skip the painting stage entirely — just cut, shape and glue.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
