Brown 4 mm Wild tufts bring a reddish-brown colour and a pronounced dry appearance to scenes with sparse growth. They suit dry ground, desert settings and red-planet environments, either as the main colour or alongside other dry shades. This is the taller of the two Brown heights we sell. Pairing it with other tuft sizes and colours broadens the palette across the finished groundwork.
You get around 70 tufts on the Wild sheet, matching the count on our 5 mm and 6 mm Wild sheets but at a shorter 4 mm height.
The same colour at this height is also sold as a Small sheet of around 144 pieces.
Each tuft can be removed individually and used without preparation.

Notes · Q & A
What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?+
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?+
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?+
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
