Brown gives low ground growth a blend of reddish-brown tones rather than a single flat colour. At 2 mm, the tufts sit close to the surface for dry creeping grasses, while the same colour mix also works for alien flora and coral reefs. Combining them with other colours and sizes adds variation in both tone and height across the finished scene.
You get around 115 differently shaped and sized tufts, the highest approximate count among the Wild sheets we sell.
At 2 mm there is one format only, the Wild shape printed on the blister, where the 4, 5 and 6 mm sheets are also sold as Small.
Use tweezers for controlled removal from the sheet; a little PVA gives a tougher, more permanent hold.

Notes · Q & A
What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?+
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?+
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?+
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
