AK8166 uses a balanced mid-green foliage colour for vegetation that should read as established summer growth without dominating the groundwork. The synthetic shrubberies are 30–40 mm high on woody trunks and are sized for 1:35, 75 mm and 90 mm scenes. Mid green works naturally along roadsides, field boundaries and ruined walls, where changes in visible height and spacing can prevent the planting from becoming a continuous, uniform hedge.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
