This set contains two units of the 800 (green) and 400 (blue) super flexible jam resistant sponges. These are the most useful grit for common tasks. They fold and adapt without breaking for very comfortable sanding. The color of the sponge identifies the grit size.
Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?
Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.
What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?
Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.
