AK8242 contains both blue and pink vegetation at a published height of 4.5 mm. Both colours are in the sheet: blue clumps with pink running through them. It can provide an otherworldly ground layer around a science-fiction model, connect blue or pink details from a figure to its base, or introduce an invented vegetation palette within a fantasy scene.
AK’s stated compatibility covers different scales, with no individual scale listed
Use tweezers to remove the selected tuft and set it onto the surface
Reinforcement options named by AK are white glue and its AK118 Gravel & Sand Fixer

Notes · Q & A
What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?+
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?+
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?+
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
