AK Interactive Human Flesh Tones contains six 3rd Generation acrylic colours selected for painting flesh and skin on historical and fantasy figures. The shades can be mixed to develop smooth transitions between illuminated areas, mid-tones and shadows. AK states that the paints provide strong coverage and adhesion when brushed and can also be airbrushed after dilution. The set produces a matt finish suitable for figure painting.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
