AK9565 is built for painting loose parts and sub-assemblies rather than based miniatures. Its perforated head rotates through 360°, allowing the work to be repositioned with one finger while the grip stays in hand. A removable arch provides a finger rest beside the part, helping steady fine-detail work without blocking access around the turning head.

  • Parts with a bolt engage the fastening holes; parts without one can be secured with paste or clips.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.

What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?

Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.
