Product overview

With two 200 × 300 mm sheets in the pack, AK8047 provides fine-grained cork at a thickness of 2 mm. It can be measured and cut into components for walls, paving, road beds, raised panels and similar diorama construction. The additional depth also leaves scope for shaping exposed edges or marking surface damage. Work against a straightedge where regular strips or courses are required, then refine individual pieces to suit the planned layout.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
