AK6586 holds a single clear acrylic sheet, 0.5 mm thick and 245 × 195 mm. The colourless material can be cut into flat glazing, vehicle windows, display fronts, instrument covers or transparent water surfaces. Apply temporary masking before marking the required shape, then score the outline against a straightedge, or cut smaller parts with a fine saw. The prepared edges can be filed and polished where they remain exposed in the completed model.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?
Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.
What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?
Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.
