Product overview

AK9100 turns a group of clipped model parts into an upright painting and drying station. The compressed corrugated-cardboard block measures 170 × 270 mm, while its exposed honeycomb structure accepts the pointed wire stems used by painting clips. Parts can therefore remain separated and elevated while paint dries, without each clip needing its own support.

The base is made from compressed corrugated cardboard.
Its honeycomb surface provides multiple insertion points for clip stems.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.

What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?

Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.
