Product overview
AK8314 swaps bare metal for a black primed surface and increases thickness to 0.15 mm. The coating means paint can be applied directly without a separate priming stage, while the thicker aluminium gives formed parts more stiffness than the 0.1 mm sheet. That makes it better suited to roofing, panels and dark metalwork where the part must hold a defined profile. The material still bends readily for custom miniature, diorama and scale-model components.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?
Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.
What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?
Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.
