Cassel Earth / Shadow Brown is a neutral dark-brown artist oil from Abteilung 502, AK Interactive's modelling oil range. AK describes it as a basic colour for adding nuance to fine detail: its tone suits shading and filters, and combined with other browns it broadens the chromatic variation of a model. AK also bundles it in the Flesh Colors Set as the shadow tone alongside the flesh references, so it doubles as a figure-shadow brown. The reduced-oil ABT 502 formula dries matt.
