Vallejo Rough Grey Pumice is a heavy-bodied acrylic texture paste made from resin and natural pumice stone. Supplied in a 200 ml pot, it produces a coarse, opaque grey surface straight from the container — no painting required for a neutral rocky finish. The paste is thick enough to build up irregular terrain, peaked ridges and cliff faces in a single application; for taller relief, apply in layers and let each one dry before adding the next. It can be mixed with Vallejo acrylic colours or thinned with water to reduce the grain.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Do I need a primer?
