Product overview
A water-based polyurethane topcoat that protects finished paintwork with a flat, non-reflective finish. The polyurethane resin forms a harder, more scratch-resistant film than standard acrylic varnish, suited to gaming miniatures that are packed, unpacked and handled repeatedly. The matt finish reduces glare and surface shine, giving painted figures a natural look under any lighting. Can be mixed with the gloss or satin varnish from the same range to adjust the sheen.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
