Eight Model Color acrylic paints for Cold War Soviet armour and infantry — the green-brown palette of T-72 tanks, BMP infantry fighting vehicles, Shilka AA guns and motor-rifle troops in the Team Yankee / WWIII setting. The set covers Green Ochre and Khaki for sun-bleached upper surfaces, Green Brown and Khaki Grey for the factory base coat, Refractive Green and US Olive Drab for the deep olive of field equipment, Cavalry Brown for leather and stowage and Pale Blue for optics and cockpit interiors. Designed as a companion to the Utility Paint Set 70.201. Each 17 ml bottle has an eyedropper cap.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.

Do I need a primer?

Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
