Vallejo Moss and Lichen 73.827 is a water-based acrylic weathering effect for recreating yellow-green lichen on stones, walls and other exposed terrain surfaces. Its permanent pigments and texture reproduce the irregular, mottled appearance associated with fungal growth caused by prolonged exposure to the elements. Supplied in a 40 ml pot, the product can be brushed onto the surface or dabbed with a sponge when a broken, uneven pattern is required.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
