Vallejo Wild Tuft Mixed Green SC416 supplies 35 tufts on a peel-and-place backing, each measuring 6mm tall. The Mixed Green colouring introduces natural variation into grassland, field margins and terrain where vegetation does not grow in one uniform shade. The height suits established grass clumps around paths, rocks and scenery boundaries. Space the tufts irregularly or combine several into broader patches. PVA glue can reinforce the bond when required.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
