Product overview

Britain received the M4A4 under Lend-Lease and renamed it the Sherman V. It went on to be the most numerous British tank and the backbone of British and Polish armoured units through the later war years. Its one real drawback was a tall silhouette, which it made up for with reliability, toughness and sheer numbers. The 75mm gun was at its best supporting infantry and silencing enemy guns, and even once German heavy tanks outgunned it, it held its own in the rare tank duels. On the tabletop it fights as a medium tank: a medium anti-tank gun with Improved HE, plus coaxial and hull-mounted MMGs. Warlord makes the model in hard plastic at 1/56 scale.
