Scale75 ScaleColor Basic Flesh (SC-20) is a 17 ml water-based acrylic for miniature painting, supplied with the range’s characteristic super-matte finish. It can be worked into smooth, translucent glazes or built into a fully opaque layer, giving the painter control over coverage. ScaleColor is especially distinct for its exceptionally dead-flat surface, widely reviewed as the mattest finish available in miniature paint. Apply Basic Flesh by brush or airbrush according to the required layer.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?

Do I need a primer?
