Monument Hobbies Pro Acryl Wash is a set of three acrylic washes formulated to shade and filter painted miniatures. They share the matte finish of the standard Pro Acryl range and flow smoothly over surfaces, leaving even transitions of pigment from highlight to shadow. Applied over a base coat they darken recesses and define detail; thinned with water they work as light filters for panel-line shadows or subtle colour shifts.
- Three colours: Black Wash, Brown Wash and Flesh Wash — covering the most common shading needs for miniatures.
- Can be thinned with water and mixed with other Pro Acryl colours for custom wash tones.
- Each bottle contains a 5 mm laboratory-grade glass agitator — inert and rust-free.
- Non-toxic, conforms to ASTM D-4236. Made in the USA.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
