MIG Productions P251 Decal Setter is a 35 ml solution applied to the model before positioning a decal. It forms the first stage of a two-solution process: the marking is moved into place, excess water and trapped air are removed, and a separate decal softener is then applied over it to help it follow the model's surface. This bottle contains the setting solution used beneath the decal.
Product code: P251.
The bottle contains 35 ml.
Apply the setter to the target area before placing the decal.
A brush or tweezers can be used to adjust the decal's position.
Remove excess water and air bubbles with a cotton bud.
Decal softener is applied separately after positioning.

Notes · Q & A
What's the difference between a paint and a wash?+
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?+
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?+
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
