Medea Airbrush Cleaner 16 oz is the intermediate bottle size for regular airbrush maintenance. The liquid is supplied ready to use and may be sprayed through the airbrush during colour changes, then used for the end-of-session clean before a water rinse. When flushing alone does not remove dried deposits, detached components can be immersed in the cleaner for a longer treatment.

  • Bottle size: 16 oz.
  • Cleans acrylics, inks, dyes, watercolours, gouache and oil-based media.
  • Parts may be immersed for one hour or left overnight.
  • Suitable for natural- and synthetic-haired paintbrushes and technical pens.
  • Compatible with ultrasonic cleaning equipment.

What nozzle size do I need for miniatures?

0.3mm is the versatile all-rounder for base coats and priming; 0.2mm suits fine detail work. Larger nozzles (0.5mm) are for terrain and big surfaces.

Do I need a compressor with a tank?

A tank smooths the airflow and reduces pulsing, giving more consistent results — worth it if you spray regularly, but tankless compressors work fine for occasional use.

How do I keep an airbrush working well?

Flush with airbrush cleaner between colours and strip-clean after each session. Most spraying problems are cleaning problems.
