Dry Green XL uses a dense mixture of greens across the tallest tuft format in the range. The greater height works across most vegetation types, from high prairie and pasture up to the ground layer of woodland, while the sheet's roughly 36 larger clumps bring vertical variation that shorter, higher-count sheets do not give. Scatter it among other sizes and colours to keep both tone and height from reading as a single uniform layer.
The XL sheets come only in Wild XL rather than separate Wild and Small shapes.
The tufts detach individually and can be placed without further preparation.
Tweezers give control while lifting; add a little PVA when a tougher, permanent hold is required.

Notes · Q & A
What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?+
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?+
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?+
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
