Dry Green 6 mm Small is the higher-count half of this colour at 6 mm, and the green is a blend rather than a single tone. Temperate steppe, prairie and meadow growth all sit inside its scope, and so does the plant cover on a woodland floor. Grass patches are the first use it is made for, and the colour is broad enough to serve most of the vegetation on a base. Mixed in with other colours, it keeps a green base from settling on a single shade.

Around 144 tufts come in Small format, tying the greatest approximate total displayed on any sheet we sell.
A Wild version at the same 6 mm height provides around 70 Dry Green tufts.
Dry Green is stocked at 2, 6 and 12 mm XL; this middle height sits between the approximately 115-piece 2 mm sheet and the roughly 36-piece Wild XL format.
The tufts separate individually and arrive requiring no preliminary treatment.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
