Product overview

Two 90 mm oval bases, the size for a beast or a large single model, with enough deck left over that the setting is not just a rim around its feet. Alien Infestation runs right across it: hull plating and grating first, then the growth that came after it, and what is left of a crew that is no longer aboard. The two you get are not the same sculpt, so a matched pair does not read as one base used twice.

Both are painted and the hand finishing is done before they reach you, like the rest of Battle Ready Bases.
Everything in the theme tells the same story wherever it appears: a working ship overrun, with eggs, critters and torn cabling left in it.
A magnet of up to 6 mm across by 1 mm thick drops into the slots underneath; the magnets are not part of the pack.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
