Product overview
Four 60 mm oval bases, the smallest oval we stock in this theme. An oval takes a model whose stance is longer than it is wide, and at 60 mm you still see ship floor on either side of one. Alien Infestation puts that floor inside a spacecraft something else has moved into and made its own, and with four in a blister this is a pack size rather than a single display base. The four are sculpted differently, so four models off one blister do not end up on one repeated piece of decking.
- Painting and hand finishing are done before the blister is packed, on every theme in the Battle Ready Bases range.
- Eggs, critters, wiring pulled out of the walls and goo running over the deck belong to Alien Infestation wherever it is made.
- Magnets go into slots in the underside — 6 mm across and 1 mm thick is the largest that fits, and none come in the blister.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?
That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.
Are tufts self-adhesive?
Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.
How do I apply static grass?
Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
