What Is This?
Grips and centres the needle inside the body. Controls the forward-back motion that opens and closes the nozzle. When worn, the grip between guide and needle loosens — result is vague, imprecise trigger response and potential needle drift off-axis.
When You Need This Part
⚠️ Needle feels loose or floats off-axis
⚠️ Vague trigger — can't hit the same paint volume twice
⚠️ Asymmetric spray despite clean nozzle
⚠️ Visible deformation or loss of grip tension
⚠️ Heads Up
GHAD-39 and GHAC-98D only. This is a separate part from the Needle Guide Packing (GAA42809). If unsure which you need, check your exploded parts diagram or message us before ordering.

What nozzle size do I need for miniatures?
0.3mm is the versatile all-rounder for base coats and priming; 0.2mm suits fine detail work. Larger nozzles (0.5mm) are for terrain and big surfaces.
Do I need a compressor with a tank?
A tank smooths the airflow and reduces pulsing, giving more consistent results — worth it if you spray regularly, but tankless compressors work fine for occasional use.
How do I keep an airbrush working well?
Flush with airbrush cleaner between colours and strip-clean after each session. Most spraying problems are cleaning problems.
