Product Information

šŸ¶ GHPM‑Mobius SP 0.3 & 0.5 mm

Premium Series Ā· Siphon‑Feed Ā· Dual Nozzles Ā· Works from 15 PSI

šŸ” What Is This?

The siphon‑feed Mobius. Same dual‑action precision as the gravity‑fed Mobius lineup, but with a glass bottle siphon system for higher paint capacity and quick colour swaps. Two nozzle/needle sets (0.3 mm + 0.5 mm Spiral MAC). Works from as low as 15 PSI — unusually low for a siphon airbrush.

šŸ‘¤ Who Is It For?

āœ… Great fit

Painters working on large surfaces needing high paint capacity — terrain, dioramas, vehicles, canvases — who also want detail mode (0.3 mm) without changing airbrush. Also ideal for multi‑colour sessions with fast bottle swaps.

āš ļø Less ideal

If you mainly paint small miniatures and rarely need more than 10 ml, a standard gravity cup is simpler and lighter. For extreme 0.2 mm micro‑detail, a dedicated gravity fine‑line airbrush is still better.

šŸ¶ Why Siphon?

More paint, fewer refills

Bottle holds significantly more than a gravity cup. Less stopping when basecoating large models or terrain.

Instant colour changes

Pre‑mix multiple bottles, swap them in seconds instead of flushing. Huge time saver for multi‑colour work.

15 PSI minimum

Most siphons need 20+. Less overspray, better fine control, compatible with smaller/quieter compressors.

āš–ļø Two Nozzles

šŸ”¬ 0.3 mm šŸŽÆ 0.5 mm (Spiral MAC)
Fine lines āœ… Good (gravity‑like) Limited
Coverage Moderate āœ… Very fast
Min. PSI āœ… From 15 ~20 recommended
Best for Detail, preshading, minis Large surfaces, primers, terrain

šŸ’” The 0.5 mm Spiral MAC set is cross‑compatible with other Mobius airbrushes.

šŸ› ļø Key Features

šŸ¶ Glass Bottle Metal‑capped glass — easy to clean, won't degrade from solvents. Buy extras to pre‑mix colours and swap in seconds.
šŸŒ€ Spiral MAC (0.5) Spiral micro air channel optimised for high‑volume coverage. Fast, even coating with stable atomisation.
ā—¼ļø Redesigned Lever Larger contact surface, refined angles — smoother action, less fatigue during long coverage runs.
šŸ“ Angled Air Valve Positioned so your hand doesn't clash with the siphon bottle. More natural grip.
āš–ļø Aluminium Tail Anodised aluminium rear grip (purple‑blue) — lightweight, shifts balance forward to compensate for bottle weight below.

šŸ“‹ Technical Specifications

0.5 mm Compatibility Cross‑compatible with other Mobius airbrushes
Best For Large surfaces + detail Ā· multi‑colour sessions Ā· terrain

āš ļø Honest Heads‑Up

• More parts to clean — bottle + cap + fittings + dip tube. Glass cleans easily but the routine is longer than a gravity cup.

• Bottle weight below changes balance vs gravity‑feed. Angled valve and aluminium tail help compensate.

• 0.3 mm siphon ≠ 0.2 mm gravity for extreme micro‑detail.

What nozzle size do I need for miniatures?

0.3mm is the versatile all-rounder for base coats and priming; 0.2mm suits fine detail work. Larger nozzles (0.5mm) are for terrain and big surfaces.

Do I need a compressor with a tank?

A tank smooths the airflow and reduces pulsing, giving more consistent results — worth it if you spray regularly, but tankless compressors work fine for occasional use.

How do I keep an airbrush working well?

Flush with airbrush cleaner between colours and strip-clean after each session. Most spraying problems are cleaning problems.
