Product overview
Midnight Tide Rex Ver. is the Aventus edition made with Barbatos Rex: the collaboration name is printed on the box and on the airbrush body. Underneath it is the original first-generation Aventus: dual action, gravity feed, and supplied with 0.2mm and 0.4mm setups, so the fine nozzle handles panel lines and micro detail while the larger one lays down base coats quickly. The three-section body is CNC-milled aluminium with an anodised satin finish. This version also includes a female quick-disconnect adapter.

What nozzle size do I need for miniatures?
0.3mm is the versatile all-rounder for base coats and priming; 0.2mm suits fine detail work. Larger nozzles (0.5mm) are for terrain and big surfaces.
Do I need a compressor with a tank?
A tank smooths the airflow and reduces pulsing, giving more consistent results — worth it if you spray regularly, but tankless compressors work fine for occasional use.
How do I keep an airbrush working well?
Flush with airbrush cleaner between colours and strip-clean after each session. Most spraying problems are cleaning problems.
