ETC-03 Model Decal Softener makes the carrier film of a waterslide decal fit tightly against the model surface, which DSPIAE says eliminates silvering, air bubbles and poor adhesion. His procedure: cut out the design, dip it in lukewarm water, slide it off the backing paper onto the model, take up excess water with a cotton swab, then brush the softener onto the decal film and remove any surplus. The square glass bottle holds 40 ml, measures 68 × 42 mm and has a green cap with a brush underneath. Main composition: organic solvent and water.
Capacity: 40 ml

Notes · Q & A
What's the difference between a paint and a wash?+
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?+
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?+
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
