Product overview

DSPIAE's AT-GA is an aluminium stand for placing super glue precisely. It has two stainless steel columns on top: drop CA glue on one, pick up a little with an applicator and touch it exactly where the joint needs it. The seven stainless steel applicators need no cutting from a frame or cleaning up, only peeling off their protective film, and the split tip carries a small, controlled amount. Four slots hold them between uses; a rubber pad stops the stand sliding.

  • Stand, 7 applicators and an anti-slip pad; glue not included
  • 60 × 40 × 27 mm, 87 g, CNC-machined aluminium alloy
  • Scrape cured glue off a column with a scrap blade, or lift the column out and burn it off; CA glue is highly flammable
  • Do not bend or squeeze the applicator tips. Keep out of reach of children under 10

Notes · Q & A

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.

What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?

Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.

How do I keep tools in good condition?

Cut plastic only (never metal sprues or wire) with precision cutters, replace knife blades often, and keep files clear with a brass brush.
