Product overview

US Airborne Bazooka & Light Mortar Teams (1944-45) adds two small support teams to a late-war paratrooper force: a bazooka team for dealing with armour and a light mortar team for indirect fire. The bazooka is the final, longer version of the weapon, and the mortar is the lightened 60mm the paratroopers took into battle, bigger in bore than the German and British equivalents, with a more effective bomb. In the studio set the bazooka pair kneel to fire while the mortar crew lie prone beside their weapon.

Final bazooka: range up from 200-250 yards to 300
Paratrooper 60mm mortar: 9kg, worked by a two-man crew
For late-war US Airborne, 1944-45
Unassembled and unpainted
