Series S is Artis Opus's signature Kolinsky sable round line for hobby painters who want a brush that handles both precision work and broader controlled painting. Compared with Series M, Series S has longer bristles and a larger belly, so it carries more paint and gives longer working time. How to care for your brush
Prompt rinse after use, then gentle brush soap cleaning and reshaping. Brush soap or Marseille soap for routine cleaning. Store dry, reshaped, and tip-protected — do not leave soaking. Do not scrub aggressively, do not leave in water or solvent, and do not let paint dry in the ferrule. With proper care, a premium Kolinsky brush can last many years.

Great Brushes....even better organization
I thought I had good brushes before....but these are on a whole new level. They hold a tip exceptionally well...and make the detail work much easier than using the Windsor #7 (think that's right)....But more to the fact that Hobby Heavan is truly a great organization. Recently had an order that went "Rouge" for a couple of days (Delivered, not delivered, then delivered)....and they were with me every step of the way to find a way to help out from across the pond. Great Customer Service is not easy...and you really have to care....They Do.

This isn’t the first time I have bought Artis Opus brushes, but the first time I bought from HobbyHeaven. Great brushes at a great price. I was replacing my favourite size brush that lasted well but had seen a lot of action. I chose Hobby heaven because I wanted to try some other ranges of brushes too and they offered them too. Although sceptical from a supplier I hadn’t heard of, I was pleased that the brushes arrived the next day and well packaged too

Really great brushes, worth the price. I've found them to hold a good amount of paint without losing their fine point. Very useful for blending.
They do need a good clean and care, not treating like cheap workhorse brushes
