Product overview
Ultra-high coverage and a high-sheen surface define AK472 Xtreme Metal Gold, a 30 ml metallic lacquer for models. Its resistance allows it to be applied without a separate priming coat, and it will not damage the plastic. The dried colour is also made to withstand subsequent weathering work.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
