Airbrush application gives AK455 True Metal Aluminium one of its four published working options. Thin the 20 ml wax-based metallic paint with white spirit before spraying it to obtain a fine surface on the model. After the paint has fully dried, the finish can be polished to develop its metallic appearance.
Brush, fingertip and cotton swab provide three alternatives to spraying.
Allow 48 hours for the wax to dry completely.
Prepare the surface with primer before applying the colour.
An acrylic varnish can be used as an overcoat.
Made in Spain.

Notes · Q & A
What's the difference between a paint and a wash?+
Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.
Can I use these paints in an airbrush?+
Many acrylics can be thinned for airbrushing — check the product description; ranges marked "Air" or "airbrush-ready" work straight from the bottle.
Do I need a primer?+
Yes for bare plastic, resin or metal — primer gives paint a surface to grip and prevents chipping.
