AK8167 brings a bright spring-green note to scenic groundwork where vegetation needs to suggest fresh seasonal growth. The synthetic forms stand 30–40 mm tall on woody trunks and work at 1:35 as well as 75 mm and 90 mm formats. Against dark soil, stone or weathered timber, a fresher green creates clear colour separation. Adjusting the spacing and visible height helps the planted area retain a natural, varied outline.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
