Dirt has been formulated for creating splatter effects and textures on vehicles, dioramas and vignettes. Accumulated Dirt is just the right consistency to apply in many areas and the lower parts; easily handled by brush, creating realistic textures of accumulated dirt. It can be reworked with a brush moistened in water, while it is wet.
It can be diluted with water or an acrylic thinner to improve its flow.
Close well to preserve for longer.

What do tuft sizes like 2mm, 4mm and 6mm mean?

That's the grass fibre length. 2mm suits small bases and subtle ground cover, 4–6mm reads as fuller vegetation on 28–32mm miniature bases.

Are tufts self-adhesive?

Most modern tufts peel off their sheet with adhesive on the underside — press onto the base, no glue needed. Loose static grass is applied over PVA instead.

How do I apply static grass?

Brush PVA where you want grass, sprinkle or use an applicator, then tip off the excess once dry. An applicator makes fibres stand upright for a more natural look.
