Product Information
A direct replacement 0.3 mm nozzle for the AK9600 Top Line Airbrush. Machined from brass with AK's self-centering design — the nozzle seats itself in perfect alignment with the needle every time you install it.
Supplied in a small screw-cap vial with a yellow "0.3" label for safe storage and identification. The close-up shows the stepped brass body with machined collar, precision orifice, and white PTFE sealing ring at the rear — all visible confirmation of the self-centering engineering.
The nozzle takes the most abuse in any airbrush: paint flows through it under pressure, cleaning solvents pass through it regularly, and the orifice gradually wears. When spray patterns deteriorate and cleaning doesn't fix it, a fresh nozzle is usually the answer.
🔍 Persistent clogging — Dried paint permanently bonded inside the orifice that cleaning can't shift.
💨 Uneven spray pattern — A damaged or worn orifice produces lopsided, sputtering spray. If a new needle doesn't fix it, the nozzle is the culprit.
⏳ Gradual wear — Repeated cleaning and solvent exposure slowly enlarge the orifice. Spray becomes wider and less controlled.
🛡️ Preventive spare — Keep one in the drawer alongside a spare needle for instant mid-session recovery.
The nozzle and needle must be perfectly aligned for a straight, even spray. If the nozzle sits off-centre, paint sprays to one side.
AK's self-centering nozzle has a tapered seat that guides itself into perfect alignment as you tighten it. No calibration, no test-spraying, no micro-adjustments. The PTFE sealing ring (visible as the white ring on the rear) ensures a consistent, airtight seal every reassembly.

⚠ AK9600 only. Will not fit other airbrush brands, even those with 0.3 mm setups.
⚠ Nozzle only — no needle. Needle sold separately as AK9601. For 0.2 mm upgrade (both parts), see AK9600-02.
⚠ Brass is soft. Hand-tight only. Over-tightening or using metal tools on the nozzle body can deform it. Never clean the orifice with metal brushes or wire.
Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?
Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.
What's the difference between single-blade and double-blade cutters?
Single-blade cutters shear against a flat anvil for an ultra-clean cut with less stress on the plastic; double-blade cutters are tougher for general work.
How do I keep tools in good condition?
Cut plastic only (never metal sprues or wire) with precision cutters, replace knife blades often, and keep files clear with a brass brush.
