AK8058 brings controlled abrasive cleaning into the form of a propelling pencil. A bundle of glass fibres extends from the metal tip, giving the modeller a narrow working area for surface preparation without using a full sheet or larger brush. It is intended for removing rust, tidying burrs and cleaning photo-etched components or injection-moulded plastic.

Propelling-pencil action advances the glass-fibre bundle from the tip.
The white barrel has a black end cap and metal nose.

Sprue cutters or a hobby knife — what do I actually need?

Cutters remove parts from the sprue cleanly; the knife trims the leftover nub and mould lines. You'll want both — they do different jobs.
