Abteilung 502 Rust & Red Colors Set contains six artist oils selected for creating realistic rust and oxidation effects on scale models. AK Interactive recommends the set for enhancing details over red primer base coats, with a range covering red, light rust, dark rust and deeper earth tones. The included Dust colour can provide contrast within the rust palette or be used for general dust effects. Each colour is supplied in a separate 20 ml oil paint tube.

What's the difference between a paint and a wash?

Paints are opaque colour for coverage; washes are thin, pigmented fluids that flow into recesses to add shading and depth. Most painters use both.

Can I use these paints in an airbrush?
