Tamiya 1/35 German Kubelwagen Type 82 35213
The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of German military car in 1:35 scale.
One of the most eminent German designers, Ferdinand Porsche designed the Volkswagen Type 1, commonly known as the Garbus, in the 1930s. His production, however, was hampered by German armaments, and the whole production was concentrated on his military version - Kubelwagen. It was developed in 1938 and field tests passed during the aggression on Poland a year later. After gaining experience, it was decided to change the gearbox and suspension and increase the clearance to improve the field performance. This modified car, Type 82, was designated for mass production. In the Wehrmacht, he served as an omnibus, scout and transport vehicle. By the end of the war, more than 50,000 Kubel cars were built.
The Tamiya kit allows building a model of a German off-roader Kubelwagen Type 82 with a driver. In the box, there is a chassis component, 3 frames, a transparent frame and decals (allow to reconstruct vehicles from the 667th Assault Brigade, 999th Light Division or 697th Propaganda Company).
Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.
