abteilung 502 oil paints

I actually bought them for artwork on canvas, the small and economical tubes being the reason. They have what seem to be, after a few uses, a fine pigment and smooth consistency. They are generally mixed to the basic palette colours, that is cerulean blue, raw umber etc. although the names are directed at modellers for weathering and so on. the finely ground pigment will allow dilution with pure turps without any sediment, so should be excellent for weathering.
I can recommend them, and will increase my range as time goes on.
