The kit proposed by Tamiya company includes a plastic model kit of British armored transporter in 1:35 scale.

In British army in 1942, the decision was made to equip infantry units with the new transporter to provide an adequate fire support and protection for soldiers. Chosen vehicle was the universal carrier, which in addition to transport functions, could serve as a mobile fire platform. The main task of mechanized infantry was to support armored troops, fighting the enemy anti-tank weapons and cleaning the area occupied by friendly tanks from remaining enemy forces. Mechanized infantry units were often equipped with other carriers, mainly by half-tracked M5 and M9, but it was the Universal Carriers due to its small size, speed, maneuverability and good mobility in the field that was the vanguard of the whole formation as a reconnaissance force of armoured divisions.

Tamiya kit allows assembly of the British tracked armored personnel carrier Universal Carrier Mk. II Forced Reconnaissance model, along with three crew members. Box includes 5 sprues with model parts, rubber tracks, and decals (allows reconstruction of vehicles from the 3rd Infantry Division, 7th Armored Division or Guards Armored Division serving in Europe or 6th Armoured Division serving in North Africa).

Plastic parts should be cut out of frames, fit together and glued according to the assembly instruction. You should paint the whole model using modeling paints. It is important to remember that some plastic parts require painting before gluing. In the end, it is needed to apply decals according to markings or graphics in instruction.

Paints recommended by the manufacturer for best results:
